HOW TO CRAFT A USA-THEMED CHARCUTERIE BOARD FOR 4TH OF JULY

Charcuterie doesn’t necessarily need to be placed on a traditional platter or tray. For my 4th of July party, I found these cardboard letters on Etsy and designed a charcuterie display perfect for the holiday celebration. 

In each letter, I placed the ingredients you would usually find on a platter: cured meat, cheese, fruit, crackers, nuts, and sweet treats. Working within the twists and turns of each letter allowed me to get a bit creative in how I rolled the meats and the direction and order in which I placed each food. Creativity is often born from limitation! 

I finished my charcuterie “board” with soft, delicate white flowers, which resemble the stars of the American flag when placed next to a bowl of blue and red berries. Enjoy!
