WHY DO YOU NEED A BAR CART IN YOUR BATHROOM?

There are many ways to incorporate a glamorous bar cart into your home, and one of my favorite ways is to use one to elevate a bathroom. Whether it’s the master bath or your guest bath, there are small touches you can apply to encourage self-care and relaxation.

A BAR CART IN THE BATHROOM

What makes me feel relaxed? What makes me feel special? When designing a bathroom cart, I always begin with these two questions. For me, I love to place my everyday self-care items in ways that encourage me to take time for myself. From lining up manicure tools on a chic, mirrored tray to storing cotton rounds and swabs in labeled glass jars, I always look to make the ordinary appear extraordinary so that my self-care feels like a spa experience.

In this vein, I also like to include the types of amenities that invite me to take a moment of extended relaxation. Bath bombs, epsom salts, a scented candle—I find that I more readily take that warm bath when I store my more luxurious bathroom items in curved, eye-catching bottles on my bar cart. Finishing the cart with a bit of whimsy, like a simple flower arrangement or glistening bottle of eau de parfum, makes the experience even more captivating. And sometimes all we need is a bit of intrigue to remind ourselves to value our well-being with a bit of self-care and indulgence. I absolutely love how this bar cart turned out!
