HOW TO PLAY WITH ELEMENTS OF A KITCHEN SAFARI TO CREATE A STYLISH VIGNETTE
I took on this habit of creating kitchen vignettes because I have an oversized island that looks very empty with nothing on it. Seeing the size, I can play with different objects to obtain the design result, but it is possible to mimic the design on a smaller island as well. Sometimes the secret is just to scale it down a little.
The Safari theme is all over the home fashion collections I’ve seen around lately, so I decided to play with it and I am pleased with the outcome! First and foremost, I discovered a new world with artificial pampas grass because there are so many color options! In this case, it is ombre’ so it’s a delicate brown, beige, white, and very fluffy. Also, I decided to add gold orchids around the edges to give it a modern touch. The vases, sphere, alligator, and giraffes are from Z Gallery. The stone tray and wooden candle are a HomeGoods find.
I think that it works so well because it plays with different heights, giving it movement and making it interesting. As a snack, I used Italian Pernigotti. They are milk chocolate pralines that literally melt in your mouth. I linked them below if you want to try them. I always keep them in my pantry!
