CUTE CAPRESE BITES WITH A STYLISH PRESENTATION

“Caprese” is an Italian word that usually denotes a salad made from fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. A beloved antipasto, Caprese salads are well-known even outside of Italian culture. As I always like to add unique flair to the way I present food, I chose to create Caprese skewers and display them on a wooden platform.

Assembling the skewers is simple: begin with a sprig of basil, add a cherry-sized mozzarella ball, create a heart shape out of two grape tomatoes, and then finish with more mozzarella and another spring of basil. These Caprese skewers are adorable, chic, and delicious. Displayed on a gorgeous wooden board and accompanied with a refreshing glass of wine, this new take on the Caprese salad will become a summer staple.
