BRING THE AMALFI COAST TO YOUR KITCHEN THROUGH THIS GORGEOUS VIGNETTE

This vignette has it all: vibrant colors, heavenly scent, and delicious treats. In all honesty, moments like this make me want to pack my bags, grab my passport, and jet set straight to the Amalfi Coast. In the meantime, let’s take a closer look at how I created this fresh centerpiece so you can create it too in your own home.

Capri is famous for a lot, including its gorgeous, blue water coasts glistening from the sun’s rays. And then, of course, we have what most associate with this posh yet still-quaint island—the zing of bright and fresh lemons. In my centerpiece, I featured the best of Capri, creating a sensory journey through color, taste, smell, and touch.

Beginning with brightly colored yellow and blue vases, I arranged dramatic displays of real-touch flowers as an ode to the springtime blooms along coastal walkways. Next, I filled a classic Capri-style bowl with ripe and fragrant lemons. To accompany this iconic flavor, I chose to include piroulines and wafer cookies, both in clear, plastic jars (I always love to put desserts and other treats on full display). Finishing my design with a bright blue candle and some red peppers for contrast, the final result is lively, energizing, and chic. It’s Capri in your kitchen!
