CREATE A RASPBERRY-ALMOND BAKED BRIE PLATTER

There are few starters more delicious than baked brie. A twist on a classic party staple, this baked brie platter features a puff pastry filled with a decadent raspberry almond jam nestled atop a delicious wheel of brie. If opulence could be baked into cheese, this would be the recipe! 

To make this puff pastry appetizer, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup raspberry jam
  • 1 package brie cheese (round)
  • 1 package of puff pastry
RASPBERRY ALMOND BAKED BRIE PLATTER

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425° F and lightly grease a cookie sheet.

Step 2

Roll out your puff pastry (not too thin) and then place your cheese wheel on top, keeping the rind intact. Dollop the raspberry jam onto the cheese,  followed by the sliced almonds.

Step 3

Wrap the puff pastry around the stacked ingredients and bake for 20-25 minutes. Once done, let cool for 5 minutes. 

I like to display my starters on something simple and sleek, like a marble serving board or wooden turntable. To mirror the mixed flavor palette. I surround the raspberry almond baked brie pastry with fresh berries, fragrant cheeses, crisp crackers, Italian salame, and a few handfuls of crunchy pecans. Salty, savory, sweet, and tart. This platter is everything.
